Bob Millen Bio
Bob Millen (skipper) is a 62 year old retired engineer. Resident in New Plymouth. He has owned, raced and sailed P class, Cherub, R class, Mullet Boat and Stewart 34.
In 1982 set out from Auckland to circumnavigate in the 40 foot ketch Rehuata with his family. The voyage, via Red Sea, Suez and Panama Canals took four and a half years.
Other yachting in the past 10 years includes skippering charter yachts in the Hauraki Gulf, Greek Isles and Croatia.
